The search for manifesting continues throughout a lifetime. How do you align with Universal Law to turn on the power of creating your dreams? There are plenty of books around that tell the secret and provide the key. However, putting these words into action is harder than it would appear. Why is that? Why can’t you follow another person’s example and *poof* everything falls into place? Ahh, that is the million dollar question, isn’t it?
There are two things that must happen in order to break through the density that separates those that hope from those that create: forgiveness and gratitude. If the act of reading those words causes your stomach to clinch, or that exasperated sigh to escape your lips, then you have not conquered these aspects of your character.
Gratitude needs to be ongoing and sincere. Don’t wait until you have that perfect house or job to be thankful, it doesn’t work that way. There are unlimited possibilities for gratitude each and every day. For instance, every breath you take is a gift. Many take it for granted. Yet some struggle for each breath. Be thankful you breathe. What about the food you are eating? Whether it is sparse, or in abundance, there is gratitude for having something to put in your belly.
Those who’ve had a rough childhood can overlook small gratitude offerings from the past. Such as, did you have clothes? Or a bed to sleep in? Were there people around you who supported you?
Give thanks for every single thing that was provided. It is the act of appreciating what you have received that allows the universe to provide even more.
Having a rough day? Start counting your blessings, literally, to shift your energy higher and take away your stress.
Forgiveness could also be called the miracle starter. This act allows your soul to move forward and evolve. You must forgive to find true peace. It is not easy, but it does get easier the more you practice. If you think of a person, place, or situation and feel anger or hurt, then there needs to be forgiveness. This has nothing to do with the cause of the pain, it has nothing to do with weakness or lack of intelligence. Quite the contrary actually!
There is strength in learning through pain and discomfort. Finding ways to see the good opens your heart and letting go allows your heart to grow. This creates ongoing positive, and better, outcomes for YOU.
This takes practice. Starting with small things will build your memory muscles before tackling the big stuff. Whatever has happened, it has made you the person you are right here, right now. That’s worth everything! You may not be who you desire, yet. But using gratitude and forgiveness will put you on the path to get there. It takes a lot of self-discipline to let go of things rather than let them sit in your soul. There is nothing simple or weak about it! Going through the process takes you from being a victim to being in control of who you are.
Where do you want to be tomorrow? Joyful or angry? The choice is completely up to you, own that.
